After making your first guess, you can enter the letters that are in the correct spots, in the wrong spots, and then that are not found in the word at all.
The site then constructs regular expressions to filter a dictionary of 5-letter words, and suggests words that you might play.
It's up to you to decide whether that is a good word to play.
